The Department for Communities and Local Government is consulting on new Best Value guidance, which sets out some reasonable expectations of the way best value authorities should work with voluntary and community groups when facing difficult funding decisions.
The guidance sets out the specific terms of engagement between the sector and local government and builds on the principles of the Compact. Closing date for responses is the 14th June.
